A student has taken the W-APT. Based on scores, the student did not qualify for ESL services.Therefore, the student will be categorized as NELB.

If a student is in transition years 1 or 2, they should still be monitored by the ESL teacher. However, in Power School, he should be coded T1 or T2. Students will be Former ELL after the 2nd year of transition.
