Writing Instructionally Appropriate IEPs in EasyIEP
The division of special populations and student support has developed a brief document to assist users with writing instructionally appropriate IEPs that align with the special education framework. The document is intended to connect the guidance provided by the instructional programming team on the instructionally appropriate IEP writing process to the EasyIEP system itself, where IEP documents are generated. We encourage all system users to review the document and refer to it as a resource when developing IEPs in the EasyIEP system. The document can also be found on the EasyIEP main menu page in the documents section under the “TDOE Communication” folder. For any additional questions or concerns about the document or the IEP writing process, please post questions to the EasyIEP message board.
